Duffy 'Aladdin Sane Demi Contact' Print (Mounted Black)

145.00 EUR 156.25 USD

Between 1972 and 1980 Brian Duffy shot five photographic sessions with David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane, Thin White Duke, Lodger and Scary Monsters. The most famous was their collaboration on the Aladdin Sane album cover, one of the most recognizable and influential images in popular culture - ‘The Mona Lisa of Pop’. This unique print combines the original album cover shot with a black and white contact sheet from the session.

12” Mounts which slip into a 12”x12” Record Album sized frame

All your prints are mounted with a black mat. The photo image size is 19cm x 19cm or 7.5” x 7.5"

The archival pigment ink prints are embossed with the Duffy Archive stamp. On the reverse of each print is a description of the print, a QR code to our website with more images, video’s and news and we hand stamp a ‘DUFFY’ logo (which is an exact replica of the stamp that was stencilled onto all of Duffy’s original camera cases). Finally each print is sleeved in an acetate clear bag.
