Bandstores.co.uk was created in 2006 by the online team at Europe’s largest music merchandise distributor, Loud Distribution, to sell tour merchandise online because we realised that our clients often didn’t have the time, knowledge or skills to handle doing this themselves.

We realised that the key to creating a successful band webstore solution (or Bandstore as we call them) was three-fold; the stores had to look great, they had to be easy to maintain and there had to be a dedicated direct-to-consumer warehouse behind the scenes making sure customers got their goods quickly and accurately, so this is what we set about creating.

Drawing on our team’s experience of online retailing we have created a platform that serves our clients’ needs but in such a way that we put the end user’s needs first; we create band webstores that are easy and secure to use with live stock figures combined with an order fulfilment service that picks, packs and ships orders quickly and accurately.

Our Team

Bandstores’ small but dedicated team is made up of people with a wealth of experience from both music merchandising and the online worlds. Several of our staff have been heavily involved in online merchandising for over ten years and are responsible for the creation of such online brands as Loudclothing.com, Grindstore.com and Oneposter.com. The team also shares an all-encompassing passion for music.

 The Bandstores System

We have spent many hundreds of hours and many thousands of pounds over the last four years turning what was once a simple off-the-shelf ecommerce package into what we believe is the best dedicated online merch store system available. The system handles multiple languages, can feature digital music downloads in addition to physical products and is able to offer UK chart reporting if required.
   
Keeping You Informed

Some of our clients like to be very hands-on and work with us day-in-day-out while others much prefer us to run the stores with little input. We realise that each client’s needs are different and will do our best to make sure that you and your artists get just the right amount of attention.

   Keeping Everything Secure

Security is a key concern in the online world and Bandstores is proud of its work to make our systems safe and secure for our users. All our transactions take place using secure web pages (SSL128bit) and no sensitive banking data is retained by our system. We use the latest 3D Secure card processing systems to reduce the possibly of stolen cards being used.
